Muscovy Ducks – Adult Drakes

Description

Muscovy ducks are large, quiet birds that are good mothers and excellent flyers.  Adult drakes dress at about 9 pounds.  They are good foragers of insects in the yard and garden.  We let ours roam free and predation is not a problem, as due to their excellent flying ability, they can roost high up in trees or on roofs, or hide in bushes.
